About

Why Mediation?

Mediation is a means of resolving disputes outside of the judicial system by voluntary participation in negotiations structured by agreements of all parties.  Mediation is usually conducted under the guidance and supervision of a trained Mediator.  The process involves unbiased questions and impartial guidance from the mediator based directly on your needs and goals.

My Role as a Mediator

My role as a Mediator is to be a neutral during the mediation process by orchestrating the meeting through meaningful and constructive conversation.  All parties will have the opportunity to discuss their needs and concerns with the hopes of settling their differences.  Once an agreement has been made, I will assist with the development, creation and follow-up of the final agreement.

Frequently Asked Questions

A mediation session may take between one to three hours. Every situation is different, and more sessions or time may be necessary.  Full day Mediations is also an option dependent on your needs.  More sessions may be scheduled, if needed.  Meetings can be held in person or via video platform.

Mediation can save you time and money when you resolve your dispute outside of court.  A signed agreement created through mediation is made by you and the other party.  The signed agreement can be used in court as a legal contract if mediation was court mandated.

This is a voluntary process, and it must be an approach that all parties agree to be before the process begins. The only time the mediation process is mandatory is when it has been court mandated.

Every situation is different and may require more or less time to resolve.  I have 3 inclusive packages to choose from.  Please reach out for more information regarding pricing.  Each party may be responsible for splitting the mediation fee, unless otherwise stated and agreed upon beforehand.  In most cases the employer is responsible for the cost of mediation.
